Installed control package on blast freezer to allow precision control of rapid product freezing and tempering.
Devised and implemented a control scheme and control package to allow hot wet product to be rapidly cooled to sub freezing temperatures, and then be brought to an even temperature throughout. The controls operated the refrigeration fans, coil temperature, room air temperature, product internal temperature and defrost cycles to minimize product processing time. The control package also made product processing data available as archived data and graphical trends.
